Responsibilities: Develop and maintain technical documentation for system tradecraft methodologies to include operations documentation, user guides, technical publications, briefings, reports, and training materials.
Interpret engineering, maintenance drawings, and operational procedures to understand and blend large quantities of system-related information.
Work on all phases of technical documentation to ensure products are accurate, complete, consistent, meet editorial and government specifications, contain appropriate security classification markings, and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style.
Coordinate with technical personnel and subject matter experts to document key elements of operational functionality, including overviews, processes/workflows, requirements, etc. to ensure delivery of quality documentation and training materials.
Review and edit documents for grammar, format, and clarity prior to program management approval.
Review and edit procedures related to standard IT workflows.
Aid in the development of accreditation documentation, if required.
Maintain and suggest improvements to the current internal documentation library.
Maintain the program's document tracking spreadsheet on status of contract deliverables.Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Top Secret Security Clearance
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience using Microsoft SharePoint
• Ability to work predominately on the customer site during a 40-hour work weekWorking Environment & ConditionsThis job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
