Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator with the focus of Cisco Networks, to join our team in Laurel, MD. Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:
Strong background in Cisco FirePower Firewalls.
Must maintain and upgrade networks, including routers and switches.
Must update and configure virus protection software and other programs to keep the networks secure.
Must apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) fixes to switches and Software Test and Evaluation (STE) policies.
Designing and planning the network for Cisco NEXUS switches.
Setting up, and maintaining a Cisco network.
Must be able to configure Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for device administration on switches.
Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (Solarwinds).
Minimum Qualifications
Shall have ten (10) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Able to download software and upgrade Cisco switches and firewalls.
IAT II certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of start. Preferred Qualifications:
Fifteen (15) years' experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Familiarity with Solarwinds
Familiarity with LatteART and XACTA Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
Must be a US Citizen Physical Requirements:
The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer's desk.
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations. 6.26.BP.SH.AB.AL.23
