JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a qualified surgical technologist to assist with the operations in this facility.
You will be tasked with preparing and sterilizing the operating rooms, as well as the necessary equipment and instruments, prior to any surgical procedure.
You will also be charged with preparing the patients for surgery and help provide a great patient experience overall.
Prepare sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
Sterilize equipment and instruments.
Stock adequate supplies for surgery.
Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
Provide support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
Track surgical supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of previous Surg Tech experience
High proficiency/experience in Ortho cases
Must be able to scrub all routine and emergent cases in Ortho, General, Gynecological, and C-Sections.
Critical Care Access, Hospital experience.
Must be OK to assist with duties in Decontam, Sterile Processing, and Endoscopy.
NBSTSA certification or military with 10 years' experience.
License/Certification:

BLS (AHA)
NBSTSA
NH Med Tech

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
