Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients. Performs CT examinations contributing to the efficient operation of the department to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care. Assists in clinical training of staff technologists and radiology clinical students. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. Prepares patients and adjusts equipment for taking film. Identifies, interviews and screens patients for proper diet preparation and possible allergies to contrast materials. Assures that equipment has been calibrated and applies radiation principles of protection.
Records procedure and pertinent data in patient's medical record.
Participates in the quality assessment and improvement plan, assuming responsibility for specific quality control duties.
Monitors inventory of supplies, orders, and expired items and notify appropriate individual when stock is low.
Monitors and reports equipment malfunctions.
Produces high quality images via digital imaging or hard CR cassette and presents the film satisfactorily for Radiologist interpretation.
Assists with staff/student on-the-job training and orientation.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

Associate's Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, or equivalent specialty.
Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 60 Days
