Tasks- Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements.
- Maintain and update payroll records including employee information, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and tax filings to relevant authorities.
- Provide support and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and discrepancies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing within an accounting firm or similar environment
- Proficiency with payroll software and systems, such as QuickBooks or ADP
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
