Tasks

In the role of Occupational Therapist Assistant, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help senior citizens regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your expertise in the healthcare setting, paired with your background in holistic wellness, will drive the development of treatment plans, assessments, and therapeutic interventions that engage senior residents and staff. This key position is central to our mission to revolutionize wellness services, presenting a strategic opportunity for expansive growth and cross-industry influence.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Assisting Occupational Therapists in revolutionizing senior living standards through pioneering and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Facilitating therapeutic interventions to improve physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning of senior citizens, while meeting their nuanced needs.
  • Conducting therapeutic activities and exercises to enhance motor skills, coordination, and balance, observing and documenting patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to wellness.
  • Adhering to strict confidentiality and security protocols for patient records, complying with HIPAA standards.

Other Functions and Duties:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, establishing authentic, uplifting connections within the community.
  • Continually updating knowledge on senior health trends to maximize program experience.
  • Contributing to an energetic community atmosphere that promotes comprehensive, holistic growth and well-being.
Requirements

Education

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Certifications/Licenses: Possessing valid state license from Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
  • Possesses outstanding judgment of the health and wellness sector.
  • Has a deep knowledge of various services, treatments and rituals.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and energize staff and customers.
  • Ability to collaborate with professionals across the health spectrum.
  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills (proficient in English).
  • Affinity for incorporating the company voice and brand into health topics.
  • Mindful of our solution focused voice when addressing preventative health outcomes.
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to work towards and meet deadlines.
  • Capacity to take initiative and make decisions with enthusiasm.
