Tasks

In the pivotal role of Spa Manager, you’ll oversee spa operations within the senior living sector, as well as contribute to other sectors. Your expertise in management, paired with your background in the spa industry, will drive the development of spa services that engage senior residents and staff. This position is central to our mission of revolutionizing wellness services, with an emphasis on holistic well-being.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Revolutionizing senior living standards through pioneering and implementing innovative spa services and programs.
  • Facilitating spa treatments, meeting the nuanced needs of seniors, and integrating staff into the wellness culture.
  • Overseeing and supervising all areas of spa, including its programs, services, facilities and staff, while emphasizing holistic well-being.
  • Collaborating with our admin, analyst, and development team to effectively control and manage the Wellness Spa budgets ensuring financial and performance targets are met.
  • Adhering to strict confidentiality and security protocols for patient records, complying with HIPAA standards.

Other Functions and Duties:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, establishing authentic, uplifting connections within the community.
  • Continually updating knowledge on senior health trends to maximize spa experience.
  • Assisting in welcoming new residents and staff, fostering a community centered on wellness and self-growth.
  • Maintaining excellence in management execution and interpersonal engagements.
  • Contributing to an energetic community atmosphere that promotes comprehensive, holistic growth and well-being.
Requirements

Education

  • Degree in one of the following areas of study: Hospitality Management, Spa Management, or related field
  • Certifications/Licenses: National or Federation Certified Massage Therapist

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in spa management, preferably within larger spa concepts.
  • Possesses outstanding judgment of the spa and wellness sector.
  • Has a deep knowledge of various spa services, treatments and rituals.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and energize staff and customers.
  • Ability to collaborate with professionals across the health spectrum.
  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills (proficient in English).
  • Affinity for incorporating the company voice and brand into health topics.
  • Mindful of our solution focused voice when addressing preventative health outcomes.
  • Ability to use technology to administer consultations.
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to work towards and meet deadlines.
  • Capacity to take initiative and make decisions with enthusiasm.
