✏️📈📞 We are seeking sales professionals to join our team in downtown Springfield for a M-F position with hourly and uncapped commissions, paid benefits, paid holidays, and immediate PTO.

Tasks

Make inbound and outbound calls to potential customers in the designated market area to qualify leads and explain the services or products offered.

Use various computer and telecommunications technologies to communicate with current and prospective customers, providing information and answering questions about promotions and new or upgraded products.

Adhere to sales practices outlined by training and/or the Sales Manager to maintain quality and effectiveness in sales.

Address objections with effective and appropriate responses.

Provide accurate pricing information and encourage purchases using strong sales techniques.

Secure and process orders, coordinating with others for fulfillment and arranging delivery dates.

Enter customer details, including names, addresses, purchases, and responses, accurately into the computer database.

When appropriate, follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, address queries, solicit further sales, and resolve or refer issues.

Foster strong relationships with the Sales Manager and team members.

Be open to coaching, actively participate in performance planning and goal setting.

Serve as a role model by adhering to high ethical standards at all times.

Take initiative in personal development by engaging in all aspects of skill and competency enhancement.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

KNOWLEDGE:

Basic computer operations including keyboarding, proper grammar and syntax, company policies and procedures as outlines in the Employee Handbook.

ABILITY:

Follow directions, communicate information to customers, read on-line scripts, enter information into computer program, close a sale, and learn new products and services.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be required. Exceptions to this requirement are as follows: High School Student Worker Program (documentation required).

LANGUAGE SKIILS:

Communication skills are required. Employees will need to have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Employees will need to be able to demonstrate their strong verbal skills in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Employees will need to show their ability to add, subtract, multiply, average, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

The employee will be expected to successfully complete instructions furnished by their supervisor. These directives could be given in written, oral, or diagram form.

Valid driver’s license or other official government-issued photo ID are to be provided by the employee.
