**General Statement of Duties**

The employee in this classification provides instruction to students in Henrico County Public Schools. **This position is for the 2024-25 school year.**

**Essential Duties**
- Follows lesson plans submitted by the regular classroom teacher
- Ensures classroom management
- Serves appropriate duty assignments
- Leaves appropriate documentation for the teacher
- Performs other duties as assigned by the school

**Minimum Qualifications**

**Permanent Substitute Teacher**:

- Have minimum of 60 credit hours or 2 years working with children.
- **Have completed the Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition and Intervention training **Recognition and Intervention training**

**Additional Information**

**Daily Sub Rates**:
$167.04*
