The Unit Secretary/Telemetry Technician's function is to perform the clerical duties of the nursing unit, is responsible for observing, documenting, and reporting cardiac rhythms of patients on Telemetry.

**Required qualifications**:

- Coursework/Training and Dysrhythmia class and passes exam within six (6) months of hire.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months of General clerical experience or successful completion of Ward Clerk/Unit Secretary training program.
