**The Opportunity**:
As a Data Analyst II, you will support the Quality Control and Assurance Department responsible for first line testing of the Automotive Finance business. The position supports monthly reporting of testing results. The routines are responsible for oversight of Ally's Automotive Finance business processes for Asset Acquisitions, Asset Management and Commercial.
Auto Finance Quality Control and Assurance provides our stakeholders with timely, relevant, independent, and objective perspectives on process execution, operational effectiveness, adherence to the Enterprise Monitoring and Testing Policy, risk management, and internal control of Ally Financial Inc. (AFI), and its direct and indirect subsidiaries (collectively, Ally).
This position is within the Quality Systems and Administration Team and can be located in Jacksonville, Lewisville, Little Rock, Detroit, or Charlotte.
**The Work Itself**:
- Administer reporting, governance, standards, procedures, change controls and overall documentation requirements of the Quality Organization.
- Create and maintain dashboards for internal stakeholders that track and interpret key metrics.
- Administer and updated Quality Administrations routines specific to the monthly and annual testing schedule.
- Assist in Configuration of audit platform Cogent for testing.
- Work collaboratively with business and IT stakeholders on system/process defects and enhancements
- Assist in the generation process of valid audit populations and samples.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to simplify and streamline existing processes and controls.
- Support Auto Finance Quality Control and Assurance ServiceNow requirements.
- Write, design, develop, deliver, and manage the Desk Procedure change process and configuration work in the testing systems Cogent.
- Maintain detailed documentation on system configurations, including business rules, controls, and process workflows.
- Participate in the Escalation process of Issues.
- Provide back-up support for other QC/A teammates.
- Fulfill ad hoc requests for management.
**The Skills You Bring**:
- 2+ years of experience as a configuration analyst, underwriter, business analyst or business software development analyst, ideally in digital or auto financial services required
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, computer information systems, business information systems, computer science, accounting, or related field required, or experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
- Well organized, effective communicator who can manage and create relationships across multiple levels of the organization.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people, work under tight timelines, problem solve and adapt and deliver results in a dynamic, fast paced, cross-functional environment.
- Ability to travel overnight - if needed (5%)
