West L.A. bar and restaurant, Sorry Not Sorry, is seeking to hire an experienced server. We have both full-time and part-time positions which are appropriate for a person who can work as a server on the floor.
We are a hospitality business focused on professionalism, team dynamics, and excellent customer care. We operate as a playful, wine-forward cocktail bar that serves a unique take on bar bites. We serve both traditional bar foods like french fries and burgers, and also fresh items like avocado toast and grilled chicken.
We are also an event venue that can serve hundreds of guests. We host monthly Drag Brunches, brunch events, and private events. Our private events range from social gatherings such as birthdays and anniversaries, to corporate events ranging from cocktail receptions to banquets.

If you love variety in your work, then this position is for you. You'll be working with a dynamic team of positive people to execute a different style of service nearly every day. One day you could be serving a banquet, the next day could be regular a la carte service, and the weekend could bring a Drag show or micro wedding.
Our operating hours are:
Monday - Closed
Tuesday - 5pm to 10pm (Winter) or 5pm to 12am (Summer)
Wednesday - 5pm to 10pm (Winter) or 5pm to 12am (Summer)
Thursday - 5pm to 10pm (Winter) or 5pm to 12am (Summer)
Friday - 5pm to Midnight (Winter) or 5pm to 2am (Summer)
Saturday - 12pm to Midnight (Winter) or 12pm to 2am (Summer)
Sunday - 12pm to 6pm
We have a mandatory all-staff meeting every first Tuesday of the month at 12pm. All hires are required to attend every month.

**Experience**:
- Restaurant Experience: 1 year (required)
Work Location: In personResponsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders and provide menu recommendations
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Enter orders accurately into the Aloha POS system
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of Aloha POS system is a plus, but not required
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers
