Parts Associate I

HRD Aero Systems offers world-class service for the Aviation industry. We service aviation safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, oxygen systems, and inflatables as well as outright PMA Part sales that make people’s lives safer. We currently seek a Parts Associate I at our Valencia, CA facility. This position is responsible for ensuring inventory is accurate and well-kept.

The duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

- Verifying that incoming goods are correctly labeled with identification numbers, pricing information, or other relevant data and stocking
- Picking orders from inventory locations and checking them for accuracy before handing them out to technicians
- Maintaining inventory of items in stock to ensure that items are not misplaced or lost
- Working with other department staff to communicate as a team to help figure out questions/problems
- Assisting technicians with requests/concerns
- Use Quantum Control to search and issue parts.
- Counting parts, control, and serial numbers and identifying shelf life
- Searching/identifying labeled shelf's locations based on barcodes
- Assisting other staff members with tasks in a team environment
- Building kits using multiple part numbers
- Scanning parts to issue for work orders

The minimum requirements include:

- One year previous stockroom or relative experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail and thoroughness
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
- Able to perform basic math calculations
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Experience with document control
- Ability to multitask
