Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking a **Data Scientist **“contingent” on award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team. This position supports the U.S. Navy in Lexington Park, Maryland.

The** Data Scientist **develops analytics methods and processes; identifies appropriate methods and tools to extract knowledge from data; leverages large volumes of data to answer challenges; prepares data for use in predictive and prescriptive modeling (data cleansing); automates organizational work through scripts for data processing and analytics; develops and applies algorithms and machine learning methods; applies analytic methods and software tools to design and develop analytic programs; and performs mathematical modeling.

**Security Requirements**:
**Experience Requirements**:

- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience carrying out duties similar to the functions above.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Six (6) years of additional experience, for a total of 16 years of experience, OR
- Associate degree plus four (4) years of additional experience, for a total of 14 years of experience
