The **Primrose School of Friendswood** is a franchised private preschool serving students from 6 weeks through kindergarten. We also offer an after-school program. Primrose Schools have more than 400 locations and have served families across the country for over 35 years.

- **Requirements**:_
- Experience working in a childcare center or large group setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- CDA or college degree preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- A love of working with young children
- A desire to do something meaningful
- A high level of energy (this is not a job for sitting)
- Must be dependable and have excellent references
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and programming.
- Supervise, care for, protect, respect and nurture our precious students.
- Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
- Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior.
- Maintain professional behavior and personal appearance, adhering to the guidelines offered in the Employee Handbook

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
