Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented individual who is passionate about Music & Movement, Spanish, and French Language to teach a variety of fine art disciplines to preschool children. As our Enrichment Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment where students can develop their creativity & musical talents in voice, piano, art & yoga. If you are enthusiastic about fostering cognitive development, & self-confidence in young students, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan a variety of musical experiences & activities that include singing, moving to music, listening to music, & introducing children to musical instruments like the piano
- Teach musical concepts like rhythm, tempo, solfege, & pitch
- Help build strong bodies & minds, & to develop executive function by introducing children to yoga & other breathing & meditative exercises which give children an outlet or healthy way to express themselves
- Foster a love of music in children by introducing them to a variety of different types of music from nursery rhymes to classical, rock, jazz & musical theater
- Help students express their creativity by making their own instruments using everyday art, nature & sensory materials
- Collaborate with other teachers & parents to exhibit students creativity & musical talents in an annual performance/recital or art show
- Stay updated on educational best practices in early childhood music education and incorporate them into teaching strategies

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in Musical skills like voice, musical theory, art, theater & experience working with children ages 2- 6 years in a preschool, music school or church setting, must be able to sing & teach singing to children
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood developmentally appropriate practices & an understanding of different learning styles to plan, introduce lessons & offer hands-on activities accordingly
- Ability to integrate technology, musical instruments, art & movement into lessons to enhance & create multi-sensory learning experiences
- Familiarity with creating & implementing lesson plans for young children
- Experience performing & reading music in a choir, & knowledge or willingness to learn movement techniques like yoga & meditation
- Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
