Glazier

We are seeking a skilled and experienced glazier to join our team. As a glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass in windows, doors, storefronts, and various other structures. Your expertise will contribute to creating aesthetically pleasing and functional glass installations while adhering to safety standards and building codes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure, cut, and install glass panels according to specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble aluminum frames and mount glass onto them.
- Remove old or broken glass and replace it with new glass.
- Install and weatherproof glass in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Ensure accuracy in measurements and alignment during installation.
- Operate equipment such as glass cutters, drills, grinders, and suction cups.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and preferences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with glass installations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a glazier or similar role.
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing glass.
- Knowledge of different types of glass and their uses.
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to glass installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or vocational training is a plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
