The **Loader Operator **operates the front end loader and other heavy equipment for our underground crews. This positions plays a critical role in the success of our projects

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Effectively, skillfully, safely, and accurately operates a front end loader and other construction equipment
- Completes proper equipment inspections prior to use to ensure that it is in proper operating condition
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations
- Meet production goals from the direction of the site Foreman or Superintendent
- Signals directions and warnings to crew members at the work site
- Works with crew members when not operating equipment
- Performs other duties as required and assigned
- Adheres to all DCS Contracting safety policies, procedures, and instructions from management

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2+ years experience operating front end loaders required or equivalent combination of experience and training/education
- Knowledgeable of OSHA standards and requirements
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and accept direction from field supervision
- Must be a team player and be willing to help out wherever is needed for the success of the project
- Safety first mindset, MUST stop work if something is unsafe
- Reliable transportation and work schedule flexibility
- Ability to get the job done with mínimal supervision

**This is a Safety Sensitive position.**

**Must be willing and able to drive within a 60+ mile radius from DCS's office to and from assigned job site.**
