**Job Summary**:
As a **Daycare Teacher**, your responsibilities include implementing the company's curriculum, fostering social, physical, and intellectual growth, and ensuring a safe learning environment. You'll craft age-appropriate lesson plans, conduct assessments, and provide valuable feedback to parents.

**Job Types**: - Full-time
**Salary**:

- $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
**Expected hours**:

- 35 - 40 per week
**Schedule**:

- 8-hour shift

**Qualifications**:

- Meet state licensing requirements for education.
- Teacher-qualified with at least two years of licensed childcare center experience.
- Preferred: Degree in early childhood development or a related discipline.
- Effective communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to coach, provide positive direction, and delegate tasks.

**License/Certification**:

- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (preferred)

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Implement weekly age-appropriate lesson plans from the provided curriculum.

2. Tailor lesson plans to different learning levels, observing and assessing each child's development.

3. Model socially-appropriate behavior and engage with children through activities.

4. Conduct regular observations and assessments reflecting children's interests.

5. Maintain a safe learning environment, adhering to safety procedures.

6. Report suspected child abuse or neglect to local authorities as required.

7. Utilize digital technology for effective classroom management.

8. Provide daily feedback to parents and conduct face-to-face conferences twice yearly.

9. Attend staff training sessions and meetings as directed.

10. Treat each child respectfully, recognizing their unique background and talents.

11. Create an intellectually stimulating environment using digital technology.

12. Enter assessment data into the school database twice monthly.

13. Open/close the classroom daily, maintaining attendance records.

14. Ensure classroom cleanliness.

**Physical Requirements**:
Lead Teachers must meet physical demands essential for classroom engagement.

**Work Environment**:
Conditions may vary, such as exposure to different temperatures and occasional climbing.
