Temporary Accountant

**Job Title**:Accounts Receivable/Revenue Accountant **(Temporary)**

**Location**:Carlsbad, CA

**Duration**:Minimum 3 months, three days per week on-site

**Role Overview**

As an Accounts Receivable/Revenue Accountant at Lumos Diagnostics, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting our growth through streamlined accounting processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the end-to-end process of onboarding new customers, including the setup of customer accounts and maintenance of accurate customer records in the accounting system.
- Generate and distribute customer invoices in accordance with established billing schedules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by finalizing billable timesheets, performing account reconciliations, and preparing relevant financial reports.
- Prepare and post recurring and ad-hoc journal entries related to accounts receivable transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and organizational policies
- Assist with reconciliation, control & reporting of certain General Ledger account balances.
- Undertake any additional duties or special projects as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the finance department.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5+ years related hands-on Accounts Receivable work and accounting experience required (preferably with some exposure to professional services and/or project accounting, plus product sales)
- Proficiency in NetSuite is required; should be able to navigate the platform confidently and utilize its features to streamline accounting processes.
- Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees.

- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure, with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes for the organization.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, build relationships with stakeholders, and communicate professionally at all levels of the organization
- Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.

- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.

**Compensation**:
The pay range for this position is $41.00 to $46.00 per hour. Your hourly base compensation will be determined based on factors such as location, skills, education, and/or experience. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity as part of any final offer.
