We seek a skilled and motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team, specializing in IV infusion and blood drawing. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our medical staff by performing various clinical and administrative tasks.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical history, and other patient information
- Perform IV infusion and phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples for testing and analysis
- Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other diagnostic tests
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health records (EHR) system
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication instructions
- Assist with scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and other administrative tasks as needed
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited LVN program and current LVN license
- Current certification in IV infusion and phlebotomy
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
- CPR certification is preferred
Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is not required.
