Essential Job Functions:

- Report to work on time and when scheduled.
- Greet every guest and Associate with eye contact and a sincere, friendly smile; Use guest names at every opportunity.
- Take pride in presenting a professional image; adhere to grooming and personal appearance policy.
- Understand the importance of and adhere to Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Downtown Service Standards.
- Clean all mirrors, counter tops, window sills, A/C vents, brass, elevator doors and tracks, signs, and displays on all floors assigned on a daily basis.
- Empty all trash and linen bags periodically over each 8 hour shift, lifting 20 to 50 pounds regularly.
- Assist with supply receiving and stocking, lifting boxes and buckets up to 50 pounds.
- Deliver and pick up all guest requested items within 10 minutes.
- Empty room attendants vacuum bag as needed over an 8 hour shift.
- Sweep and mop assigned service areas and linen closet floors daily.
- Clean vending machines and floors in vending areas.
- Supply linen for room attendant linen carts as needed during an 8 hour shift.
- Maintain standard number of supplies in linen closet.
- Move furniture as assigned in rooms, transport rollaway beds, and turn mattresses.
- Clean, sift, and stamp all ash urns on assigned floors daily.
- Report damage to property and report needs to immediate supervisor.
- Empty trash in public areas, Front Desk, and Restaurant/Bar areas.
- Check all exterior of hotel for trash, wall marks, etc.
- Sweep/mop all stairwells and service elevator landings.
- Stock linen room with supplies, and help to organize and straighten housekeeping supply storage room.
- Assist housekeepers with VIP rooms, moving furniture, and reaching when needed.
- Assist with supply inventories.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
