**Position Overview**: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our expanding sales team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our growth with bookstore, library, and school customers. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting sales managers with presentation preparation, sales reporting, forecasting, and handling general customer requests. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to spreading the joy of reading.

**This is a hybrid position based in Naperville, Illinois. Some in-office time will be required on a weekly basis.**

**Sales Associate Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist sales managers with preparations for meetings and sales presentations.
- Compile quarterly customer business reviews.
- Upload new title data to accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Send sales materials and sample products to customers.
- Create engaging PowerPoint presentations for customer presentations.
- Prepare detailed reports for the bi-annual budgeting process.
- Maintain and update a database of promotional campaigns.
- Generate and prepare customer reports as needed.
- Act as a communication liaison between sales/marketing, sales/editorial, and sales/production teams for materials and displays.
- Attend seasonal sales conferences and new title launch meetings to stay updated on industry trends and company offerings.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient in standard MS Office programs, with strong skills in sales reporting and analysis.
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint, with the ability to create compelling presentations.
- Experience with Edelweiss title platform is a plus but not necessary.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is preferred.
- An avid reader who loves books and the publishing industry.
