Job Overview:
This would be a part time schedule, however, nights and weekends are a must as we are located on the Asbury Park Boardwalk with very busy summer days.
Must be able to multi task and wear many hats - Main responsibility would be working the cash register, baking pretzels ( we will train you) and keeping the restaurant clean.
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team for a unique opportunity to work at the beach As a member of our team, you will have the chance to interact with customers and contribute to creating a memorable experience for beachgoers.
**Duties**:
- Cash handling: Process customer payments and provide accurate change
- Culinary: Assist with food preparation and ensure quality standards are met
- Time management: Efficiently manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Basic math: Perform calculations for cash transactions and inventory management
- Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in work areas
- Toast POS: Utilize the Toast POS system for order processing and payment transactions
- Help customers: Provide friendly customer service and assist with inquiries or requests
**Skills**:
- Cash handling experience is preferred but not required
- Culinary skills or previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is a plus
- Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Familiarity with the Toast POS system is beneficial but not required
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $17.72 - $21.34 per hour
