**Position Summary**:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Data Associate.

in support of clinical trials, studies and general research under direct supervision. He/She works with
School of Medicine and Medical Center staff and departments, including Directors, Managers, Clinical
Information Systems, Research Nursing and Regulatory Services. May also interface with patients and
their families.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with coordination of all aspects of studies including data acquisition by administering and scoring cognitive research cognitive tests
- Assisting study investigators and coordinators with participant recruitment
- Working with the IRB on study amendments and continuations for active studies
- Contacting and scheduling active study participants for their follow up evaluations
- Processing participant fees and study related expenses
- Processing blood and biofluids using universal precautions and with proper training
- Assuring all data is completed and recorded in the participant database
- Responsible for the shipment of samples and management of freezer bank holding all samples

**Minimum Qualifications**:
To qualify you must have a Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in science, public health, health education or a related field. Prior experience in a health care settings and/or research level interviews
Prior patient education experience

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $45,600.00 - $49,091.90 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
