Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, plugging and masking as necessary
- Class A finish experience is a plus
- Monitor coating process to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify coating thickness and quality
- Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections and make necessary touch-ups or repairs
- Operate forklift and crane to move materials and products as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform PMs and seek assistance where necessary
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Powder Coater is required
- Proficient in powder spraying techniques
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their use in quality control
- Experience operating forklifts, cranes, and power tools
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects as required
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, ability to see color and varying shades of colors

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $17.42 - $19.00 per hour
