**Responsibilities/Tasks Include**:

- Gather/organize client data and accurately enter into electronic filing software, specifically UltraTax
- Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex federal and state individual and estate tax returns
- Perform reviews of tax returns to ensure accuracy
- Communicate with clients to address questions and obtain missing information
- Utilize practice management software for workflow and billing

**Requirements**:

- Prior tax preparation experience in a tax practice or retail setting
- Knowledge of tax laws, tax concepts and familiarity with the form 1040 and all schedules
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook) and tax software required
- Must be able to work independently and juggle many tasks in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required for this position. Must be able to interact with clients, partners, and co-workers.
- Attention to detail and time efficiency is key
- Accounting degree preferred
- EA preferred

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
