Funeral Assistant

This employee will be responsible for ensuring that funeral services run smoothly at all times. Employee will assist with visitation, viewing and graveside services when applicable. Employee must be presentable at all times, suit and tie are required while working funeral services. Acts as driver for all vehicles related to funeral service and graveside services. Must have clean driving record. Act as a casket bearer for funerals as needed, ensuring correct attire is worn and is carried out professionally and with dignity. Other duties as required by the Funeral Director such as setting up flowers, equipment, printed materials. Employee must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. R.T. Foard has three locations in Maryland, Chesapeake City, Elkton and Rising Sun and one in Newark, Delaware.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
