Our Painter will be responsible for painting building and common areas for several residential properties in the North and West Suburban area. Some apartment painting may be required. Pay: Up to $25/hr. commensurate with experience.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid Driver's License and active auto insurance
- 3+ years of prior professional painting experience
- Prior experience in a multifamily housing community a plus
- Experience with painting, patching, hanging drywall, and sanding surfaces
- Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills in order to complete projects on time
- Availability to work Saturdays
- A proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of all applicable health and safety standards

**Position Responsibilities**
- Prepare area and surface for painting which includes, masking, hanging drywall, cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking and covering nearby objects when needed
- Take pride in your work and ensure that all paint jobs are completed neatly and by required deadline
- Clean areas thoroughly and remove supplies and equipment at the completion of all projects
- Assist with and maintain inventory of tools, paint, and materials
- Store and dispose of paint as directed by your supervisor
- Report unsafe workplace conditions to the management office
- Follow all safety guidelines with respect to the use and disposal of hazardous chemicals
- Any other tasks as directed by the Director of Maintenance
