Our deep passion for books and the preservation of wisdom and knowledge through the written word, coupled with our emphasis on ‘getting our hands dirty’ with magical practice, allows us to publish books that encourage each reader to intensify and further inspire their own Craft.

**Scope & General Purpose**:
The Marketing and Publicity Coordinator is responsible for creating and managing marketing campaigns designed to increase sales of our books. This role includes working closely with authors, media, and internal teams to ensure successful publicity across various channels.

**Main Duties**
- Oversee the creation and management of social media ads, ensuring content is aligned with the company’s overall vision and goals.
- Create all pre
- and post-publication media collateral for titles, as requested.
- Maintain and grow relationships with authors, media contacts, and influencers in the occult community.
- Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials.
- Coordinate book launches, signings, and other promotional events.
- Collaborate with designers to produce visually appealing marketing materials, including book covers and promotional graphics.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Coordinate with sales teams to ensure promotional efforts align with sales goals and strategies.
- Write and edit copy for advertisements, newsletters, and website content.
- Organize and participate in book fairs, conventions, and other industry events.
- Provide regular reports on marketing and publicity activities to the leadership team.
- As needed, work with authors to seek endorsements and forewords for titles.
- Develop partnerships with occult shops, bookstores, and other relevant organizations for cross-promotional opportunities.
- Plan and execute virtual events, such as webinars and online book readings, to help our authors reach a wider audience.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education/Experience**
- Previous experience in a marketing or publicity position is desired.
- Prior experience in an office setting is desired.

**Communication Skills**
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and proficiently communicate in proper English; write concise reports and other communications/correspondence with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar; speak with poise, voice control, and confidence using professional and audience-appropriate style.
- Must be able to successfully conduct and manage meetings and speak to large groups as needed.
- Must have an outgoing, sales-minded personality with the ability to close on business.
- Accounting Skills
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

**Qualitative Skills**
- Must be able to read, interpret, and analyze graphs, charts, and data sets
- Must be a self-starter, stay on task, and be focused with mínimal supervision.
- Must be knowledgeable of social media platforms, trends, new media, content creation/production, and digital marketing.
