- We serve as the underwriting and program manager for Title Industry Assurance Company (TIAC), a risk retention group. TIAC was created by the American Land Title Association (ALTA) as a source of professional liability/E&O insurance for its members. The Account Manager is responsible for underwriting and servicing a designated book of professional liability /E&O business for title agents and abstractors on a nationwide basis. The book of business is high volume, modest premium accounts comprising $500K in annual revenue. An understanding of the insurance market along with building and maintaining strong relationships with TIAC and our clients is essential.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties will include, but are not limited to the following**:

- Responsible for growth, retention and client satisfaction when underwriting and servicing of a designated book of professional liability /E&O business for title agents and abstractors.
- Coordinating all client service needs, including underwriting, submission review, claims, quoting, binding, invoicing, and other administrative duties.
- Direct responsibility for client retention, growth, achievement of operating margin targets, and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
- Work directly with retail broker/agents and wholesalers, as appropriate.
- Input renewal information into the rating database.
- Verifying all clients are current members of the related association.
- Develop and present renewal proposal to client and do appropriate follow up.
- Provide premium finance options, if requested from the client.
- Handles all requests for mid-term changes or adjustments to an active policy, including increased limit requests, additional office requests, and Certificate issuance.
- Utilize agency management system to maintain accurate client, policy, and underwriting documents.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients by executing proactive, creative, and on-going contact initiatives.
- Monitor the book of business, including total premium collected, policyholder growth, and policyholder attrition.
- Maintain privileged and confidential information.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2 + years of relevant insurance industry experience
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Appropriate state licensing required
- Insurance industry designations are preferred
- Intermediate level of experience with Excel and PowerPoint
