**About Us**: At Del Mar Optometric, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional eye care and eyewear services to our valued customers. We are seeking an experienced, reliable, professional Optician with a **minimum of one year of experience** to join our dynamic team.

**Position Summary**: As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality optical services. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their eyewear needs, ensuring precise measurements, and providing exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist customers in selecting the perfect frames and lenses based on their prescriptions and lifestyle.
- Take accurate measurements of customers’ eyes and faces for proper lens fitting.
- Adjust and repair eyewear to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
- Explaining vision insurance benefits and pricing to patients.
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with optometrists to ensure seamless patient care.

**Qualifications**:

- **Minimum of one year of experience as an Optician.**:

- Strong knowledge of optical principles and lens types, coatings, and materials.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to take precise measurements.
- Proficiency in using optical tools, equipment, and EHR systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- ABO Certification as an Optician is preferred but not required.

**2-3 days per week, MONDAYS REQUIRED**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
