**Position Overview**: We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant individual to join our team as an Unarmed Security Guard. The primary responsibility of this role is to safeguard our clients' properties, personnel, and assets through proactive monitoring, surveillance, and response to potential security threats.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or safety hazards.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to maintain a secure environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and guests with inquiries and ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Enforce site-specific security protocols, policies, and procedures to prevent incidents and maintain order.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, or incidents, including but not limited to medical emergencies, disturbances, or breaches of security.
- Complete accurate and timely reports documenting security incidents, observations, and patrols.
- Perform access control duties, including verifying credentials, issuing passes, and monitoring entrances and exits.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to security operations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the company in a positive manner.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in security-related fields preferred.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential security risks or threats.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during emergency situations.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Valid Arizona security guard license.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position may require working evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- The job may involve standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods, as well as occasional lifting or moving of objects.

**Salary and Benefits**:

- $18-$20/hr
- Shifts covered M-F 2pm - 11pm and S-S 6am - 11pm
- Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
