**Looking to add drivers to the Butte County Area**

**POSITION**:
We are looking for customer service oriented individuals to join our team. Drivers are trained in all aspects of transport for ambulatory patients who need transportation after discharge from a hospital. Our patients are not in need of medical intervention, and are able to stand, pivot, and move with limited assistance. Drivers are trained to navigate within the multiple hospitals we serve to locate the patient, receive the patient from hospital staff, assist the patient to the DART vehicle, and safely transport the patient to a pre-set location. Drivers may also receive assignments involving transportation of additional medical necessities.

**Full-time and Part-Time Positions Open**:
DART transportation is offering both full-time and part-time employment. We are open 7 days a week, Mon-Fri 8am-11pm and Sat-Sun 7am-8pm. We are looking to fill multiple shifts which allows for flexibility in scheduling. There is over-time available and occasional opportunities for out of town transports, expenses paid by DART, some examples being: Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Oregon, Reno. **QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY**:
1. Must be 18 years of age

2. Current valid California Driver's License (Only Class C required)

3. Clean driving record preferred, but some minor infractions can be discussed

4. CPR certified or CPR certified within the first 90 days of hire

**REQUIREMENTS**:
1. Ability to lift 50 lbs. (average wheelchair weight)

2. Ability to sit for extended periods of time while driving

3. Willingness to comply with drug testing and background check requirements (DART is an equal opportunity employer, please contact us with any questions in regard to this requirement)

4. Ability to maintain professionalism and calm disposition in sometimes stressful situations and to navigate the hospitals (we will provide training on this)
