**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-**

**Registered Nurse Director - Med/Surg Unit**

**RN DIR - MED/SURG**

**_Full-Time_**
- The Med/Surg Director, under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer and Associate Chief Nursing Officer supervises and directs the delivery of patient care or care-related services on the Medical Oncology unit according to the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the departments and hospital.
- Works cooperatively within departments to create a system of quality health care.
- Maintains current knowledge in areas of clinical supervision, determine staffing requirements, interview and hire all personnel for the departments, develop yearly budgets, conduct yearly performance appraisal for all staff, provide leadership in compliance with applicable Joint
- Commission standards and safety standards, and provide leadership in growth and development of new services in areas of clinical supervision.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS-**

**Registered Nurse Director - Med/Surg Unit**

**_Full-Time_**
- EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
- EXPERIENCE: 3+ years' Director experience required in an acute care setting Med Surg Preferred
- Will consider Nurse Manager min 5 years in an acute care setting
- LICENSURE: RN License or active compact license required.
- Additional InformationWill consider a seasoned Nurse Mgr. with at least 5 yrs of Med Surg exp. in an acute care setting

**Compensation
- $110K-76K plus bonus incentive based on experience
