**JOB SUMMARY**

The incumbent of this position primarily serves as a Forensic Program Coordinator in the Forensic Services Division, Clinical Services Administration, Department of Behavioral Health (DBH). The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Director of Forensic Services Division in planning, developing and implementing comprehensive programs. Responsible for coordinating administrative activities to resolve major problems encountered in program implementation. Develops administrative methods, approaches, and processes for an efficient flow of Forensic Division. Reviews policies and procedures of existing and new FD programs for appropriateness and improved service delivery. Plans and coordinates each fiscal year’s budget projections, expenditures, and revenue for the FD. Ensures accurate record keeping, accounting, and tracking of revenue earned for FD and DBH. Creates billing invoices on behalf of DBH to Federal Agencies. Responsible for operating and managing one or more contracts funded by FD. Maintains liaison with a variety of high-level officials within federal and district agencies, the courts, and other public and private organizations. Responsible for entering and maintaining databases relevant to FD operations. Assists in the various processes required to onboard new staff who join the FD

This position IS in the collective bargaining unit represented by **SED** and you may be required to pay an agency service fee through an automatic payroll deduction

**Duration of Appointment**: Permanent

**Tour of Duty**: 8:15am - 4:45pm; Monday - Friday

High School Diploma or Equivalence (GED)

**WORK EXPERIENCE**

Experience in providing high-level and wide-ranging administrative and analytical functions in support of the goals and objectives in a Forensic Division.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

The work is usually performed in an office setting
- Criminal background check;
- Traffic record check (as applicable);
- Consumer credit check (as applicable);
- Reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol test; and
- Post-accident or incident drug and alcohol test.
