**Job description**

We are seeking a Resident Advocate who is responsible for assisting and supporting our residential mental health and substance abuse clients through their treatment experience from admission to discharge.
- Day 7 AM to 3 PM
- Evening 3 PM to 11 PM
- Overnight 11 PM to 7 AM

**Responsibilities**
- Supervises medication calls and drug screening of clients as required
- Provides transportation services as needed
- Provides client supervision
- Completes shift notes
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 18 years old
- First aid and CPR certified
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Must have at least 1-year experience working in the chemical dependency and mental health field
- Computer literate and able to communicate clearly in both written and verbal
- Knowledge of policies, including ethics, appropriate boundaries, and patient confidentiality
- Ability to confront behavior changes and know when additional support is needed

**Experience**:

- Caregiving: 1 year (Advantageous but not required)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)

Work Location: Los Angeles

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overnight shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
