**Production Assistant Job Summary**

A Production Assistant is the behind-the-scenes hero who ensures smooth performances and events by setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a customer-service mentality.

**Production Assistant Duties and Responsibilities**
- Set up, operate, and break down a variety of AV equipment, including musician Instruments, screens, speakers, microphones, cables, video conferencing systems, and live streaming equipment.
- Conduct thorough testing of all equipment before, during, and after events to ensure flawless performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and calmly under pressure.
- Maintain an organized inventory of AV equipment.
- Assist with basic lighting and staging needs as required by the event.
- May provide technical support and user guidance to performers.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during equipment setup and operation.

**Production Assistant Requirements and Qualifications**
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a Production Assistant or in a related field.
- Strong understanding of audio-visual equipment, including operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Proficient in cable management and system connections.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with performers and management.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed for events.

- Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
- Small work areas having three-foot access.
