**Description**:
- **Job Title**: Direct Support Professional (DSP)**Job Type**: Full-time**Location**: Phoenix Metropolitan Area**Salary Range**: $16.5 to $17.5 per hour**Job Overview**:
- As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Serenity Support, LLC, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in the comfort of their own homes. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our members and creating a nurturing and supportive environment for them to thrive.**Responsibilities**:
- Assist members with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Provide emotional support and companionship to members
- Implement individualized care plans and support goals as outlined by the care team
- Encourage independence and foster a sense of empowerment in members
- Document daily activities and progress notes accurately and timely
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care for members
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass a background check (Note: Serenity Support, LLC follows Equal Employment Opportunity Commission guidelines and does not inquire about criminal backgrounds during the hiring process)**Salary**:
$16.5 - $17.5 per hour
