Hair Braiders

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform hair braiding services for clients with precision and creativity
- Consult with clients to determine their desired braided styles
- Provide recommendations on hair care and maintenance
- Keep work area clean and sanitized according to industry standards
- Upsell salon products and services to clients
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and braiding techniques

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in barbering and hair styling techniques
- Knowledge of color theory for effective hair color combinations
- Familiarity with nail care techniques for a holistic beauty approach
- Experience in retail sales, promoting salon products, and services
- Ability to use MINDBODY or similar software for scheduling and client management
- Understanding of sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe salon environment
- Mentoring skills to guide and train junior stylists
- Background in cosmetology is a plus
