General Summary
The Carryout/Cashier Associate assists the store manager in the overall store operations and the achievement of company goals and directives. Duties include but are not limited to the following.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
Provide positive representation of the store.
Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
Assist customers in moving, loading, and unloading of products within and outside of the store.
Ensure all calls and pages are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
Precisely and accurately handle cash, checks and other types of payment received for products sold.
Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently.
Be knowledgeable and actively participate in all sales promotions and other campaigns.

Store Operations
Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of all departments.

Leadership
Lead by example; be approachable by all associates and customers.

Must be able to work hours of 16 to 20 hours per week, including 2 nights & 1 weekend day. The ability to be flexible to changes in hours to cover vacations, illnesses, and extended hours.
Requires standing, walking, lifting and climbing. Ability to lift 20 to 40 lbs frequently and even more occasionally.
Must be willing and able, with training provided, to operate all company equipment including but not limited to fork lift trucks, pallet jacks, platform lifts, store delivery trucks, computers, phones, and headsets.
