Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. Your role will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, promoting social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning.
**Duties**:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of Toddler-aged children.
- Provide a safe and inclusive classroom environment where children can explore, play, and learn.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members through effective communication and collaboration.
- Observe and assess each child's progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing individualized support as needed.
- Encourage independence, self-expression, and creativity in children through engaging activities and materials.
- Promote positive behavior management techniques to create a respectful and inclusive classroom community.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, progress, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to plan special events, field trips, and parent engagement activities.
**Skills**:
- Previous experience in toddler care, infant care, nannying, babysitting or caregiving roles is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.
- Proficiency in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
- Knowledge of early childhood education curriculum frameworks and standards.
**Education**:
- EEC Teacher Certified
Certifications:
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
