Visual Merchandiser

This position is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that draws attention to the floor plan and the furniture to maximize product sales. The visual merchandiser will be responsible for the overall environment of the store including interior, exterior, displays and vignettes, product receiving/replenishment/rotation and store cleanliness.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:

- Create indoor spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting essential and decorative items.
- Travel to customers’ home, if requested to help design the room.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance within working environment and with all equipment and tools, including Park Home.
- Perform in-home consults and provide the highest level of customer service.
- Communicate with the General Sales Manager to ensure the correct items were ordered.
- Ensure appropriate disposition of damaged product.
- Receive all merchandise into inventory that is for the sales floor.
- Maintain current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in the industry.
- Maintain inventory levels on all rugs, lamps, and decorative items.
- Assist the delivery/distribution team in transporting from warehouse to showroom.

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must possess strong attention to detail, good organizational skills with the ability to ensure accurate work.
- Ability to work independently but as part of a team concept.
- Flexibility and the ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

- 8 hour shift
