**_ Generations Healthcare Network has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Hospital Liaison for our network facility, Generations at Oakton Pavillion, in Des Plaines, IL. Some local travel is required._**

**_SALARY IS $70K-75K BASED ON EXPERIENCE, PLUS OPPORTUNITY FOR BONUS_**

**Responsibilities of the Hospital Liaison/Business Develpment Manager**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, social workers and physicians to generate qualified referrals
- Facilitate and assess patient referrals for admission to the Skilled Nursing facility
- Assess referrals for patients with complex ventilator needs
- Meet with families and patients at facilities to assist with admissions
- Coordinate promotional events including open houses, health fairs, etc.

**Requirements**:
**of the Hospital Liaison/Business Development Manager**:

- A.A., B.A. or B.S. in Nursing, Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy a PLUS
- Experience in Healthcare Marketing
- Sales and Marketing experience in healthcare with regard to generating referral sources
- Solid understanding of Skilled Nursing facilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Competitive nature
- Knowledge of area hospitals and other local healthcare organizations
- Has established relationships with social workers and discharge planners
- Good understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Good understanding of private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid benefits as they pertain to skilled nursing
- Local travel required (reimbursement provided)
