**Job Title**: Production Assembler I

**Job Summary**: The Production Assembler I undertakes mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly tasks, focusing on small parts or components, following clear instructions and adhering to company policies and safety protocols.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducts mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly of small parts or components as per company instructions and procedures.
- Reviews shop traveler route cards or simple schematic drawings to ensure the correct sequence of operations.
- Positions minuscule parts (e.g., ceramic boards, crystals, gauges) under a binocular microscope using tweezers or positioning fixtures.
- Adjusts, aligns, and solders fine wires to resistors and base parts; bonds or seals parts with epoxies using direct heating elements or ovens.
- Performs various in-process testing procedures.
- Adheres strictly to all safety policies and procedures.
- Completes any other duties as assigned.

**Job Specifications**:

- **Education**: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is preferred.
- **Certifications**: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field are advantageous.
- **Years Experience**: 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- **Skills**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient in operating various hand tools and light machinery.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret company documents such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent manual dexterity for working with small parts.
- Proficient in problem-solving using established procedures.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

**Work Schedule**: Regular, consistent attendance is expected. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and additional hours as required.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: From $19.36 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
