The Director Neighborhood Services will oversee the operations at the Honickman Learning Center and Comcast Technology Labs, the Community Development department at the Helen Brown Community Center, and all 19121+19132 Neighborhood Services initiatives. Provide mission-focused leadership steeped in the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion to achieve and maintain excellence in all programs within the Education, Employment and Neighborhood Services Department. This Director of Neighborhood Services collaborates with leadership across the PH portfolio of programs in 19121+19132 to build relationships, expand partnerships, and integrate department initiatives and services within the organization's strategic plan to increase awareness of and access to high-quality community resources. Leads internal working groups and participates in external committees that deepen our commitment to the organization's mission, vision, and values. Evening and weekend availability required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work to ensure long-term health and effectiveness of Neighborhood Services programs and of the organization
- Provide leadership in initiating and organizing 19121+19132 program community services, community development-related initiatives, community programs, and events, in collaboration with key internal and external partners, supporting 19121+19132 residents:

- Increase awareness of community resources and supports
- Increase access to enrichment activities, resources, and services
- Increase engagement across PH programs
- Supervise, recruit, and train HLC Operations Coordinator and HBCC Community Development Manager
- Develop and foster strategic relationships with key community partners to support with increasing access to high-quality community resources and increases engagement.
- Plan and facilitate community meetings, support committee in tracking action items and achieving success and impactful outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with contract and grant performance standards. Deliver data-driven metrics engagement, expanded partnerships, and resources. Report monthly, quarterly, and annual outcomes. Ensure accurate training records, resident employment records, caseload efforts, and participant outcomes are maintained by all staff.
- Conduct research surveys, focus groups, and data analysis as a part of the evaluation of department initiatives and prioritize.
- Plan and manage the annual operating budget for the HLC Operations and Community Development departments.

Education and Experience Minimum Requirements:
**Minimum Experience**:

- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five (5) years experience working in social service or community engagement organization with progressive management experience
- Background working with diverse urban communities with a proven track record of successful community engagement
- Strong administrative skills, including use of and proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Proven track record of achievement and producing results
- Ability to lead, plan and manage systematic and organizational change
- Experience managing large complex budgets
- Experience grant writing, reporting and meeting contract and grant requirements
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience utilizing database management systems
- Demonstrates the desire and ability to incorporate the mission of PH into the daily policies, decisions, and environment at Project HOME

**Preferred Experience**:

- Master's Degree
- Experience working in non-profit organizations
- Knowledge of 19121+19132 community organizations, services and other resources
- Valid PA Driver's License and clean driving record

**Core Skills**:

- Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines effectively. Able to prioritize tasks well.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with all levels of staff and across all departments and locations. Keeps calm under pressure.

**Physical requirements**:
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Ability to climb up and walk downstairs. able to carry/lift up to 40 lbs.
