**Bigelow 11** is seeking a part time **Unit Coordinator,** for the day shift every **Monday, Thursday**, and **Friday**.**Bigelow 11 Medical Surgical** unit, part of the teaching service at MGH, is an 25 bed acute medical unit that works collaboratively to provide compassionate care to our patients and their families, and work as a strong team, to develop an overall culture of excellence. Bigelow 11 beds all have telemetry capability. The patients on this unit represent a diverse adult population with a wide variety of complex acute illnesses and chronic medical diseases.**What do we have to offer?**

- You will play a critical role in patient care by serving as the central source of information by communicating with patients, families and medical staff.
- You will transcribe medical charts for patients to ensure that all of their medical treatments and procedures are carried out.

- Individuals who are highly organized and can prioritize and manage information in a demanding environment
- Talented and compassionate communicators who manage patient records according to order, completeness, integrity, confidentiality and security

- Effective coordinators who can arrange for patient services between multiple departments
