**Mission Early College High School Tutoring Program**

Do you have a passion for helping students succeed? Are you an expert in high-level math?

The **Mission Early College High School (MECH) Math Tutoring Program** is seeking enthusiastic and qualified tutors to join our team for the 2024-2025 academic year.

**We are particularly looking for tutors with expertise in**:

- Math: Must be able to effectively teach up to Calculus.

**In this role, you will**:

- Work with students in small groups or individually to provide targeted support in high school and college-level math.
- Tailor your instruction to meet the specific needs and learning styles of each student.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters student growth and confidence.

**Program Dates**:

- August 26, 2024 - May 15, 2025

**Program Schedule**:

- Days: Monday - Thursday
- Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

**Professional Expectations**:

- Proficiency in Math up to Calculus
- Excellent communication skills for clear explanation of complex concepts.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
- Flexible in adapting tutoring methods to individual student needs.
- Enthusiastic about supporting student success through academic assistance.

**Tutoring Format**:Small groups and 1:1 (depending on student needs and tutor availability)

**Attendance**: No regular attendance requirements for students (students can attend as needed)

**Requirements**: Completion of BATA onboarding requirements, including background check, online training, TB Scan.
