Four Hands is hiring a **Quality Assurance Associate** to join our dedicated warehouse team We are looking for hard working team players to contribute to our well established furniture wholesale business. Four Hands is one of the largest home furnishing distributors in Austin, TX. We operate out of seven locations with nearly 1,000,000 sqft of warehouse space. A role in our distribution center means being in the heart of getting products to our customers as quickly as possible.

The Quality Assurance Associate will assist with the daily operations of the quality team. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Coordinator.

**In This Role**:

- Perform product inspections, take photos, and enter data on findings using the warehouse management system, computers, and tablets
- Identify product issues like splitting, broken items, finish defects, dents, scratches, color discrepancies, material flaws, and packaging problems
- Use inventory barcode scanners
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, touch-up materials, packaging, tape guns, and cleaning materials daily
- Move products using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts/pickers
- Unpack and repack products to their original condition
- Conduct product rework
- Unload and load containers or trailers as needed
- Uphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands Team
- Other tasks as defined by Management

**The Ideal Person**:

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day without assistance and maneuver and lift up to 225 lbs repeatedly with assistance
- Ability to operate manual and electric material handling equipment, such as hand jacks
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching in a warehouse environment
- Forklift experience/certification preferred, but not required; must have the ability to be trained
- Ability to identify items on all paperwork including customer orders and labels, manifest documents, packing lists, stock receipts, and bills of lading
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed
- Required to wear steel-toed boots/shoes at all times during work hours
