Accountant

Mansour, the world’s leading purveyor of luxury rugs, carpets, and tapestries, is seeking an self-motivated Accountant to join our team. In this position, you’ll play an important role in our company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and bookkeeping. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
**You Will**:
- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
- Reconcile bank statements
- Be responsible for preparing and reviewing invoices from vendors to assist with timely payments
- Generate invoices and track payments
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Additional duties as required and assigned
**You Have**:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 2-5 years of accounting/finance experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
- Experience with accounting software
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
- Excellent time management skills and ability to adapt to new situations quickly
- The capability to work in a fast-paced environment in a professional manner

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
